Deirdre Beck's senior thesis film at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
My contribution was traditionally animating the 7-second embrace at the climax of the film. This animation was then handed off to other crew members to laser cut and place on the stop motion set.
My Contribution:
Here is the animation I created for Shot 15 of the film. It was then handed off to other crew members for further refinements and laser cutting- this final version is shown in the second half of this video!
How it was used in the film:
Each frame was laser-cut and placed onto a multiplane for shooting. Image courtesy of Deirdre Beck.
